Removing
- Remove the exterior rearview mirror housing. Refer to
→ Body Exterior; Rep. Gr.66; Exterior Rearview Mirror; Mirror
Cap, Removing and Installing.
- Remove the bolts -arrows-.
- Remove the turn signal bulb -1-
downward from the exterior rearview mirror housing
-2-.
Installing
Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:
Note
The entire exterior mirror turn signal must be replaced if
an LED is faulty.
- Insert the tip of the turn signal into the slot
-arrow- inside the housing
-3-. The guide
-2- must engage into the mount
-1- at the same time.
- Install the turn signal -5-
into the housing. Make sure the guide nut fits into the guide
-4-.

Trim Removal Wedge -3409-
Removing
- Versions with a selector lever: move the selector lever into
"D/S".
- Turn off the ignition.
- Lift the selector lever/shift lever boot by hand or
carefully pry it out on the side with the Trim Re
WARNING
Risk of leg injury.
Stay outside of the swivel range of the trailer
hitch when releasing the trailer hitch.
Removing
- Extend the trailer hitch ball head. Refer to Owner's Manual.
