Audi A6 Typ 4G: Subwoofer -R211-, Removing and Installing
Subwoofer -R211-, Removing and Installing, Standard
The Subwoofer -R211--2- is located in the center of the rear shelf.
Removing
- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
- Remove the rear shelf. Refer to → Body Interior; Rep. Gr.70; Passenger Compartment Trim; Rear Shelf, Removing and Installing.
- Release and disconnect the connector from the Subwoofer -R211--1-.
- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the Subwoofer -R211--1-.
- Remove the Subwoofer -R211--1- upward from the rear shelf -2-.
Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.
Subwoofer -R211-, Removing and Installing, BOSE
The Subwoofer -R211--2- is located in the center of the rear shelf.
Removing
- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
- Remove the rear shelf. Refer to → Body Interior; Rep. Gr.70; Passenger Compartment Trim; Rear Shelf, Removing and Installing.
- Release and disconnect the connector -2- from the Subwoofer -R211--1-.
- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the Subwoofer -R211--1-.
- Remove the Subwoofer -R211--1- upward from the rear shelf -3-.
Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.

The Subwoofer -R211--2- is located in the center of the rear shelf. The Subwoofer -R211- is attached to the rear shelf and can be removed downward from the luggage compartment.
Removing
- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
- Remove the rear shelf. Refer to → Body Interior; Rep. Gr.70; Passenger Compartment Trim; Rear Shelf, Removing and Installing.
- Open the luggage compartment.
- Release and disconnect the connector -2- from the Subwoofer -R211--1-.
- Remove the bolts -arrows- from the Subwoofer -R211--1- and remove the Subwoofer -R211--1- from below in the luggage compartment from the rear shelf -3-.
Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.

The Subwoofer -R211--2- is located in the right luggage compartment recess.
Removing
- Turn off the ignition and all electrical consumers and remove the ignition key.
- Remove the luggage compartment floor covering.
- Remove the bolts -2-, and -3- and the nut -5- from the Subwoofer -R211--1-.
- Release and disconnect the connector -4-.
- Remove the Subwoofer -R211--1- upward.
Installing
- Install in reverse order of removal.
